2024 Bridal Hair Trends
The 2024 wedding season is here! Around this time many brides are securing their vendors and locking down hair and makeup for their big day if they haven’t already! Now that the vendors are booked, its time to find some inspiration.
Here are my 2024 bridal hair trends I think we will be seeing more of this year:
Half Up Half Down
Not your typical half up, but one that is a bit more flirty and fun like this one with a bun/twist combo in the back, or you can keep it more simple with a sleek back look.
2. Effortless Low Buns
Brides love to look their most glamourous but also the most like themselves on their wedding day. An effortless low bun allows brides to have an elegant style that looks like they were able to put it together on their own.
3. High Messy Updos
This hairstyle has been so popular! Last year I saw more and more styles like this on bridesmaids but I think we are going to see this more and more on brides! It’s fun, effortless, flirty and looks good on just about everyone.
4. Polished Glam Waves
Glam waves are here to stay! They are such a timeless look and super classy. I do think brides are going to want them a little less ‘structured’ so they can be able to run their hands through or not have to maintain them so much. Borderline blowout curls.
5. Bow Accessories
I love wearing bows and I love that they are getting the recognition they deserve. They are so feminine and fun and add so much to a hairstyle without really doing much! Some brides are having their bridesmaids wear bows as well. Super cute!
6. Roller Set “Blowout” Curls
Similar to the glam wave, these are more “blowout” curl hairstyles that are bouncy and look a lot less “put together” like traditional glam waves. I love this style because it’s sexy and voluminous looks good on everyone! I would just ensure your hair likes to hold curl because these may tend to fall after a while. You can do a combo of a blowout for the ceremony and then for the reception you can have the stylist (if she is hired for second hair look) throw it up in a messy updo or add some more curl to it to make it stay.
If you are a current/future bride, don’t stress too much on what is trendy or not. These styles are to help narrow it down but at the end of the day you should choose the style that you will feel the most like yourself in.
I hope you enjoyed the post! Which hairstyle was your favorite or which one do you think you will try this year?
