  1. Shampoo & Condition your hair

Start with a lightweight, volumizing shampoo and conditioner to create the perfect foundation. Avoid heavy, moisturizing formulas that can weigh your hair down—your goal is clean, bouncy strands with plenty of lift!

2. Apply Leave In

A lightweight leave-in conditioner helps detangle, smooth frizz, and add heat protection without making the hair too heavy. Focus on the mid-lengths and ends to keep hair healthy and manageable.

3. Use a Blow out spray

A heat-activated blowout spray will help enhance volume, lock in the style, and protect your hair from heat damage. Look for a formula that adds body and shine while keeping frizz at bay.

4. Apply Volumizing Mousse

For that signature ‘90s bounce, a volumizing mousse is key! Work a golf ball-sized amount into damp roots and mid-lengths to give your hair lift and structure while keeping it touchably soft.

5. Flash Dry

Before styling, rough-dry your hair about 80% of the way using your fingers and a blow dryer. This speeds up the process and prevents excess heat damage while helping create a natural lift at the roots.

Pro Tip: Flash dry with your hair upside-down for more volume.

6. Section Hair & Use Roundbrush

Divide your hair into manageable sections and use a medium to large round brush to smooth and shape each piece. Roll the brush under at the ends for that signature ‘90s bounce, and lift at the roots for extra volume.

Pro Tip: Use the angled concentrator on your blow dryer & be sure to point the nozzle down towards your ends to eliminate frizz.

7. Add Hair Rollers

For the ultimate supermodel-inspired blowout, set each section with Velcro or hot rollers while your hair cools. This step locks in volume and movement, ensuring your blowout lasts all day.

Pro Tip: Do your makeup while your hair sets and cools!

8. Add Hairspray

Once you remove the rollers, mist a flexible hold hairspray throughout your hair to set the shape without making it stiff. This will help your blowout stay voluminous while allowing for natural movement.

9. Volume Powder & Tease

For extra lift at the crown, sprinkle a small amount of volume powder at the roots and lightly tease the hair with a comb. This creates that fluffy, sky-high ‘90s volume that lasts.

10. Finishing Spray

Seal the look with a lightweight finishing spray to add shine and keep everything in place. A mist of shine spray or anti-humidity spray will also help fight frizz and keep your blowout looking fresh.

And that’s it! With the right products and techniques, you’ll have a bouncy, voluminous, ‘90s-inspired blowout that’s full of movement and lasts for days. ✨
